With 50 years’ experience producing high-quality branded foods, the family owned Ferrer business began its journey in 1964 in the foothills of the Spanish Pyrenees, with the collection and distribution of truffles and wild mushrooms.
In the mid-1980s, the steady growth of the company and the need for more space in the production facility saw the headquarters move close to Barcelona and the opening of a new production plant in Cáceres (in the southwest of Spain).
The new generation of the Ferrer family, while keeping the highest standards of quality and tradition, is investing considerably in research and development of new products and recipes. They are expanding into international markets with success while keeping its core values of family and tradition.
