Genesi Collection is an essential Collection that endures the test of time. The packaging pays homage to the special bond that Loison has established with the Venetian region and its artistic heritage. The inspiration came from a Palladian architectural element, which is the classically inspired column. The stylized sequence of this classical element is reproduced on the packaging for an elegant texture. Fine ribbon and gold-tone details make these products look even more precious, whilst offering unpretentious style.
Panettone Classico a.D. 1476 combines lightness with goodness: its soft and fragrant sponge is full of candied peel of oranges from Sicily and citrons from Diamante, Calabria. Our craft Panettone is further enriched with the best and sweetest sultana raisins and is flavored with Mananara vanilla from Madagascar (a Slow Food Presidium). This classic flavor is the one that best represents our baking tradition.
The peels of oranges from Sicily and citrons from Diamante, Calabria, are processed into candied bits. The essential oils on the peel retain the intense aroma of freshly picked fruit.
Vanilla is one of the most prized spices. Loison sources theirs directly from growers in Madagascar, as they offer one of the best vanilla crops in the world. The fragrant black pods we are more familiar with are obtained after a lengthy production process.
Sultana raisins from Turkey, featuring seedless, even-looking fruits, are sweet and plump. The grapes are dried naturally out in the sun with no added preservatives.
