This extremely limited organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced exclusively from trees on Tenuta Foggiali estate in Puglia (Italy), with an average age of over 1400 years old, and is bottled in its pure and natural condition directly at the source.
Early harvest, hand-picked and cold-pressed within a few hours in an organic certified mill. A blend of Coratina, Cima di Melfi, Leccino, and Pecholine which is the closest you can come to freshly pressed olive juice. Intense, robust, with a peppery kick and green grassy flavors, it develops an artichoke aftertaste.
This EVOO won a Silver Award at the 2016 New York International Olive Oil Competition, and also a Silver Award at the 2016 BIOL International Prize for organic EVOOs. The packaging of this treasure is as impressive as the olive oil quality.
Recommendations for use: It is the ideal finishing touch on bruschetta, chickpeas soup, grilled meats such as lamb chops or steak, stews, aged cheese.
