Gazpacho and food trends

When we attended to the last Summer Fancy Food Show in New York in late June, we were already looking for Gazpacho, to add it to our catalog. As usual, we just need to be sure that we are offering you one of the best. A few days later, the show's Trendspotter Panel identified five emerging trends of note, the first and most important one for us was Gazpacho to Go.

"Soups in a bottle were all over the show, but virtually all had a gazpacho recipe among the options", the Specialty Food Association Communications Director said.

Gazpacho is one of the most popular foods/drinks in Spanish homes during summer. It is refreshing, nutritive and delicious. This perfect hot-weather soup is pretty much a salad in liquid form, which means it is an easy-to-make dish. You can prepare as much as you want and eat/drink it all day long. You can also prepare it to go!

By the way, we have just found out that July 21 was the World Day of Gazpacho! Why don’t you try and prepare your own gazpacho to celebrate it? This one might be a good recipe.
