About Almazaras de la Subbética
This is more than just a family business; it is a company of 4000 families who live off and for the olive grove. It was on this basis that the firm was created on 9 July 2007 following the merger of two companies – S.C.A. Virgen del Castillo (Carcabuey) and S.C.A. Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno (Priego de Córdoba) – that date back to the 50s and 60s respectively.
Nowadays, the company operates on two sites. The first is located in the town of Caracabuey (Córdoba, Spain). Covering an area of over 350,000 square meters, it contains the company's head office, the larger of the olive oil mills, livestock, the quince orchard, and the curing and bottling facilities.
The other site, 28,000 square meters in size and located in Priego de Córdoba, is home to our other mill.
