Unless noted otherwise Medineterranean usually ships all items within 72 hours of receiving your order. The majority of our orders are shipped via USPS and UPS Ground Services.
That means that in-stock items will arrive on your doorstep within four to eight business days after receipt of your order. This allows the time it takes for us to hand craft your order, and ship it from our warehouse via Standard Ground 4-6 business day delivery service. Weekends and holidays are not business days and cannot be used to estimate the arrival date. Ground shipping is NOT guaranteed for a certain date, therefore, there will be no refunds for early or late arrivals. We are not responsible for any delivery delays due to third parties or carriers.
- We do not charge a handling or box extra-charge on any order, except for Gift Baskets.
- If you need to receive your order before the regular delivery term or want to add "Signature Confirmation", please email us at email@example.com. We will offer you a custom solution.
- Depending on the value and nature of the items, orders over $60 may be shipped using the Signature Confirmation Service in order to protect our customers, meaning someone will need to sign for it in, rather than the package being left at your door. We will notify you, if applicable.
We reserve the right to make changes to the shipping fees at any time. In the event an adjustment is necessary, you will be contacted for approval prior to shipping the package or making any changes.

Ibérico and cheese orders
- In order to ensure the best shipping conditions, Ibérico Ham, Ibérico chorizo, Ibérico salami (salchichón), and Manchego cheese orders are usually shipped separately from other products. You will receive them within 2-5 working days.
Shipping to Puerto Rico
- Are you ordering from Puerto Rico? Let us know what you would like to order (product name and quantity) and the shipping address. We will get back to you with an estimate that may be better than the standard shipping cost in the chart above.
Address Issues, Missed/Refused Deliveries, Other Delivery Issues
We ship your order to the address that you provide us. It is the customer's responsibility to specify both correct and complete information. Should the address be incomplete or incorrect, your shipment may be delayed, and you will be responsible for all shipping charges. The determination of the delivery driver as to the deliverability of a package shall be final. We will not have any responsibility for late or non-delivery of goods arising from incorrect delivery information being provided.
It is also the customer's responsibility to make himself available to receive a shipment. Failure to do so may cause a delay in the shipment, and you will be responsible for all shipping charges if returned to us.
In the event that you do not receive a shipment, you must notify us within five (5) days of the scheduled delivery. Failure to do so compromises our ability to locate the missing package, and as a result claims for a lost package reported after this period will not be honored.
We will not be responsible for any lost package marked as "delivered" by the carrier. However, we will investigate the issue and do our best to locate your package. If this happens, we will open a claim with the carrier and issue a refund only if the carrier grants the claim. This claim process usually takes around 3 weeks.
With heat-sensitive products, some extra precautions must be taken.
Your items are protected at least until they are out for delivery in your area.
Your items are kept in a temperature-controlled room up to the minute that they are transported to the carrier's office in an also temperature-controlled vehicle. Besides, we personally drop off every single package inside the carrier's office, which is air-conditioned. Your items will be fine at your post office since it will be air-conditioned as well.
However, there are several aspects of a shipment that we cannot control/predict:
- the weather for every state and area in the country,
- how long your package will be "out for delivery" in your neighborhood,
- how long your package will be left out in the weather once it is delivered.
It will not matter how the items are protected or which shipping service is used if your package is under the sun/heat for a long time, either in a delivery truck, or in/at your mailbox/door.
Therefore, we beg you to, please, use follow your package's tracking information to make sure that:
- the weather in your area will be adequate for this kind of product around the estimated delivery date,
- your package will not be left out in the weather once it is delivered.
Should you not be sure of fulfilling these premises, please, contact the carrier with your tracking number and request them to hold your package at your post office for you to pick it up, instead of having it delivered to your address.

You should receive an email with that tracking information once you have placed your order. You should receive another email when your package is “out for delivery”, and a final one when the package is delivered.
