Return & Refund Policy

Food items:

To prevent our product from the risks associated with spoilage, adulteration or misbranding, we cannot resell returned food items. Hence, we must discard returned food.

For public safety reasons, all food sales are FINAL SALES, except:

- COVAP Hand carved Jamón 100% Ibérico de Bellota "Pata Negra", and

- COVAP Whole Jamón 100% Ibérico de Bellota "Pata Negra" + Carving kit sales.

Anyway, please, inspect package and products as soon as they arrive at your door!

If you receive damaged merchandise, please contact our Customer Service info@medineterranean.com as soon as possible. Any delay in contacting our Customer Service Department makes it more difficult to file a claim with the shipping carrier. Please, keep ALL packaging and items EXACTLY AS THEY ARRIVED and take pictures. Additional pictures and information may be requested to assess the damage. Claims for damage received after 7 days will not be honored.

In any case, please note that:

  • We would offer you a refund, gift card or replacement. We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund/replacement.
  • Refunds may only be issued to the original form of payment. Your credit card company may take up to 10 business days to post the refund to your account. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your credit card account again. Then contact your credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@medineterranean.com
  • If the package is visibly damaged, do not refuse the delivery! Inspect package and products, take pictures, and contact us. In most cases, a damaged shipment will never arrive back to us. The carrier will discard it and it will be impossible to assess the real damage and determine responsibilities.

COVAP Ibérico ham:

If for any reason you don’t like our COVAP jamón ibérico (very unlikely) you can return it 100% free. Just email us at info@medineterranean.com and we’ll send you a prepaid label to ship it back to us. As soon as we receive the Jamón, we will refund your credit card. No costs, no questions asked. Simple and free.

Other products:

For all the rest of the products, our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone since you received your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is required for all returns and exchanges. Contact Customer Service to request your RMA at info@medineterranean.com and please let us know the reason for your decision. We will send you an email with the instructions for returning.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

In any case, please note that:

  • Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. The cost of return shipping will be also deducted from your refund.
  • A restocking fee will be applied (minimum 20% of the order amount).

Change or cancel your order

- If you placed your order incorrectly, contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to add or remove the items you need. Please, be aware that we will not be able to do it once the order is in the process of being shipped to you.

- If you want to cancel your order, contact us as soon as possible. If the order is not already in the shipping queue, we will cancel it and full refund you. All orders paid through PayPal will be partially refunded. A 2.9% +$0.30 fee will be charged from October 11, 2019, because PayPal does not return to us the fees charged from the original transaction.

All orders canceled at Medineterranean's discretion will be fully refunded.
