About Higuera, La

Once upon a time, there was a small family business, located in the village of Almoharín, a land of abundant fig trees.
It was in this remote corner of Spain where Senador Valero and Felipa Nieva, husband and wife, came up with the idea of mixing dry figs with chocolate. It was 1989. The Rabito Royale bonbon, which is currently enjoyed all over the world, was born.
And so was born Productos La Higuera Company....

Today, Senador and Raquel Valero, son and daughter of the founders, are in charge of the company. For more than 30 years, they have made constant improvements in processes and organization, but have managed to keep the original recipe unchanged as a guarantee of the quality and authenticity of Rabitos Royale.
